1. The Truman Show is one of the best movies I've ever watched. It has all the qualities a great movie has and it makes you think outside the box. After watching this movie I started to think differently about the world and life in general. Maybe my life is a TV show just like Truman's? Maybe my entire is just one giant dream I have to wake up from? Who knows. The point is that this is one of those movies that has an impact on everyone that watches it in one way or another. It brings out a lot of different emotions while watching. Happiness, sadness, excitement, suspense, you name it. It gives you the feeling that you're in the movie and really makes the viewer connect on a personal level with Truman. It is truly a classic movie and a must watch.
2. The article "The Meaning Of The Truman Show" talks about how the movie is very much a representation of our lives. Truman lives in a fictional world created by the media, and us people choose to accept what is true or false whenever the media tells us something, whether it be in news, TV, movies, music, etc. Just like Truman, we choose our own reality in the sense that we have a choice in what we want to believe.
3. Personally, I do agree with the writer's opinion because obviously, not everything that is shown or portrayed in the media is true. A lot of it is false or completely overexaggerated, which is why us the public have a choice in what we choose to believe and what we choose not to believe. It is as simple as that. If something sounds to good to be true, it probably is. We create our own reality in a sense and that is what the writer is talking about.
4. Truman has been led to believe that he is living a "real life" for over 10 000 days or somewhere around 30 years or so.
5. The Truman Show is kind of a mix between a drama and a suspense thriller because it has a mix of both types throughout the movie.
6. I think that the movie does act as a metaphor for our own lives. I feel this way because in The Truman Show, Truman is presented with a world that he chooses to believe is real just like we are in real life presented with stories in the media that we choose to believe are real or not. We make the world appear as we want it to. We choose what to believe and don't believe everything the media tells us because then they would be controlling our life. Everyone wants to have control over their life and that is why I think that the movie does act as a metaphor for our own lives.

Good work Sergey! Your comments are thoughtful and interesting. You could go into more detail with how different aspects of the movie act as a metaphor for our lives. Good choice of pictures!
